After Your Procedure
You can shower after your procedure but keep the injection site clean (no lotions/creams).
No swimming or soaking in a tub for two days after an injection.
Steroids may increase your blood sugar and blood pressure. Please monitor these closely.
If you experience any leg weakness, new changes in your bowel or urinary habits after the procedure, fevers or chills, or neck stiffness, please go to the emergency room immediately.
Most steroids work within 3-5 days but can take up to 10 days to work. Please allow two weeks after the injection to see if you get benefit from it.
