Dr. Colin Gallagher practices in the Division of Cardiology at UI Health. Dr. Gallagher takes a patient centered approach to cardiovascular care. He tries to understand his patients' life, goals, and concerns before deciding on a path forward.

Dr. Gallagher treats a wide range of conditions, from hypertension and cholesterol disorders, to heart failure and arrhythmias. His passion lies in an aggressive, evidence-based approach to prevention, and he often uses advanced imaging to identify heart disease early, before symptoms appear. Dr. Gallagher works closely with patients to get ahead of risk factors rather than react to emergencies. He believes that catching problems early and treating them decisively gives you the best chance at a long, active and healthy life.
