Occupational therapists and music therapists are part of the interdisciplinary team treating patients with major mental illness. Individual assessment and group oriented treatment is provided on the adolescent and adult inpatient psychiatric units and with outpatients in the Community Reintegration Program (CRP), which is an Intensive Outpatient program (IOP). Group treatment focuses on developing awareness of symptoms that have been negatively impacting daily functioning. Treatment is designed to facilitate  development of attention / concentration, healthy habits, learning and practicing more adaptive coping strategies, and positive  communication.
