Outpatient Rehabilitation for Neurological & Physical Conditions

Occupational therapists at UI Health in this focus area work with patients on everyday life activities that can be affected by neurological medical events or physical disabilities, such as stroke, amputation, or multiple sclerosis. Therapy might focus on thinking and memory, getting out in the community, showering and getting dressed, cooking, returning to work, using the computer, socializing, managing health conditions and symptoms, taking medications, educating family, among many other activities — whatever is important to the person.
