Dr. David Morris is an associate professor in the Division of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Cosmetic Surgery at UI Health. Dr. Morris' clinical practice focuses on pediatric plastic surgery and craniofacial surgery in children and young adults, and his areas of research interest include multidisciplinary outcomes following orthognathic surgery and optimization of the 3D/virtual planning approach in craniomaxillofacial procedures. Dr. Morris completed residencies in general surgery, plastic surgery, and fellowship training in craniofacial surgery, and he is board-certified in plastic surgery. Dr. Morris is an active member of multiple surgical organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American Cleft palate/Craniofacial Association. He serves on multiple editorial boards for plastic surgical journals and he is actively involved in clinical research.
