Jennifer Stenger is an occupational therapist and certified hand therapist in the Rehabilitation Services Program at UI Health. Ms. Stenger has vast experience treating a variety of upper extremity conditions due to trauma, acquired deformities, congenital conditions, repetitive motion disorders, and post-surgical. She utilizes a variety of intervention methods for treatment, including custom orthotic fabrication; electrotherapeutic and thermal/cryo physical agent modalities; postoperative wound care and suture removal; joint and soft tissue mobilization; therapeutic taping; instrumental and activities of daily living training; neuromuscular re-education; and sensory re-education and desensitization. She also develops customized home exercise programs. Ms. Stenger completes activity and job analyses to recommend and train in the use of ergonomics, joint protection, and energy conservation techniques. She has completed training to complete Functional Capacity Evaluations for worker compensation claims.
