Maryam Syed is an advanced practice nurse in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at UI Heath. Maryam’s interests focus on educating patients on diabetes and lifestyle modifications with the goal of reducing or eliminating the need for medication, and she is passionate about partnering with patients and their families to help them gain control of their diabetes. She believes in building strong patient-provider relationships and strives to deliver high-quality care. Maryam’s goal is to work together to create an individualized care plan to help patients reach their goals and optimize their health.
