Dr. Matías Sánchez practices in the Division of Hematology/Oncology at UI Health. He specializes in treating patients with different blood cancers who need stem cell transplantation and cellular therapies. These treatments are designed to eliminate the malignant cells by using the patient’s own immune system or the immune system of a different individual.  Dr Sanchez work focuses on how to best deliver these innovative treatments to patients and how to improve access to these specific treatments.
