Dr. Mel Speisman specializes in Academic Internal Medicine. He is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of hypertension, diabetes, congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation, coronary artery disease, stroke, COPD, and other chronic medical conditions. He is interested the primary prevention of disease with a passion for medical education. He has received numerous awards from medical students and residents. Dr. Speisman has mentored many physicians to take on leadership roles in academic internal medicine. He has made a lifelong commitment to research, teaching, and outstanding patient care.
