What to Expect During Your Visit
Your first visit will include a comprehensive evaluation by our team of medical and dental specialists and allied healthcare professionals. Your child may only have one appointment - or they may have as many as nine. Our goal is to provide comprehensive interdisciplinary care. You will have some waiting time throughout the day. You may want to bring snacks or visit the hospital cafeteria or nearby restaurants, as time permits.
This visit involves a physical examination and 2-D/3-D digital X-rays and photographs, among other tests. The team will meet in conference to develop both a short- and long-term care plan. These treatment plans are then presented to the patient and family and their referring doctor.
What to Bring to Your Visit
The hours of operation for the Craniofacial Center are: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled clinic appointment.
- Your medical and dental insurance cards
- Your primary care doctor's contact information (name, address, and phone number)
- Referral letter from your doctor with any additional important information
- X-rays, CT scans, and any other radiology reports
- Snacks
