Gender Affirmation Surgery
The Gender Affirmation Surgery Program at UI Health understands transitioning is a journey that begins long before your surgical procedure. Each transition is a personal, distinct experience that involves a myriad of factors: psychological, hormonal, aesthetic, legal, and more.
UI Health is proud to have been recognized as a "Leader in LGBT Healthcare Equality" by the Human Rights Campaign’s Healthcare Equality Index. This designation signals to LGBTQ patients and allies that UI Health meets the foundational elements of LGBTQ patient-centered treatment and care.
Our surgeons, physicians, and staff are here to lead you through this process and answer the unique questions and concerns you may have. Our goal is to make your transition as comfortable and easy as possible.
