Keeping Track of Your Daily Activities
When you leave the hospital after transplantation, you should keep a diary to record important information about your body every day. Please bring it with you, along with your medication list of every clinic visit. Remember, you are responsible for your body and your medications. We cannot help you if we do not know the problems you are having. Please bring the diary and your questions with you to clinic.

You will be seen in the Post-Liver Transplant Clinic. Be prepared to come on time for your blood tests. Do not eat or take your anti-rejection drugs until after your blood has been drawn. You may take all of your other medicines before your blood is drawn with a sip of water. Please bring your breakfast and your anti-rejection drugs with you or come prepared to buy your breakfast in the hospital cafeteria. Be prepared to spend 2 or 3 hours at the medical center on these days, as this is the average time it takes to have the blood tests completed, reviewed, and be seen in clinic.
