Cancellation Policy
UI Health prioritizes providing timely, efficient access to care. To ensure we are providing the best healthcare service to patients, it is important that we have advance notice of at least one (1) business day if you are unable to arrive for your scheduled appointment. This allows us to open the appointment for another patient.
No-Show/Late Cancellation Policy*
We understand that missed appointments happen. However, after three (3) missed appointments or late cancellations (less than 24 hours of the appointment time) in the same UI Health specialty within a 12-month period, that specialty may no longer be able to schedule you for future appointments.
If you miss an appointment, you will receive an automated notification, and we will notify you if you have reached the no-show limit. If you feel that you still require treatment with a UI Health specialty, please contact the clinical team to further discuss the matter.
